Restriktive Erträge, doppelte Selektion der Trauben, schonende spontane Vergärung in Eichenholzfässern und vier Jahre Reife in 3000 l fassenden Holzfässern; für den Brunello von Poggio di Sotto wird nach allen Regeln der Kunst gearbeitet, um einen ganz großen Wein hervorzubringen, und es zahlt sich aus: subtile, feingliedrige Frucht, komplexe würzige Aromatik, reichhaltig und mit kräftigen Tanninen strukturiert, die aber dennoch einen samtigen und runden Eindruck hinterlassen.
