Die Ursprünge des Vermentino liegen im Osten der Provence, wo diese Traube unter dem Namen Rolle kultiviert wurde. Heute ist sie auch in Sardinien und Ligurien beheimatet. Eine der wenigen Weißweinsorten, die auch unter mediterraner Sonne Frische und feine Aromen hervorbringt. Winzer Alain de Welle hat ein gutes Händchen dafür, der Sorte ihre typischen würzig-floralen Aromen heraus zu kitzeln. Ein herrlich klarer, lebendiger, duftiger und charaktervoller Wein!
