Vini Giol, Veneto
Das Weingut Vini Giol gilt als das älteste dokumentierte Weingut Italiens. Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 1427. Im antiken Weingut werden ausschließlich Trauben aus der eigenen Produktion gekeltert. Diese stammen von den historischen Gutshöfen La Bicana, Il Bassonet, Le Gerette und Spiridiona. Die Familie Giol setzt auf Spitzenqualität und versucht dabei, der Umwelt größtmögliches Augenmerk zu schenken. Aus diesem Grund werden die ca. 25 ha Rebland biologisch bewirtschaftet.
Ich war immer bestrebt, diese Orte zu schützen und ihre Schönheit und Faszination zu bewahren, um sie mit all jenen teilen zu können, die wie ich, an die Bedeutung der eigenen Vergangenheit und der eigenen Traditionen glauben. Luisa Giol
